The chariots' return journey from Gundicha to the main temple
Bahuda Yatra is the grand return leg of the Chariot Festival, when the deities journey back from the Gundicha Temple to the main Jagannath Temple.
What happens
Nine days after the Rath Yatra, the three chariots are pulled back along the Grand Road, with the same fervour as the outward journey. The famous Poda Pitha offering happens at the Mausi Maa Temple on the way.
